Rusty Plough Farm is a small family farm, growing certified organic vegetables, flowers and berries (NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC), as well as eggs from our free-range hens; honey from our beehives; and seasonal pigs for meat. Our farm consists of 36 acres, including: crop fields; wild blueberry stands; woodlots; a pond; a maze of old stone walls; an old rusty plough; wild turkeys, deer, hawks, squirrels; the occasional bear; multitudes of frogs and newts; Sneakers the barncat;
and the house, barn, and greenhouse.
On approximately two acres, we produce a wide variety of vegetables, herbs, strawberries and colorful, cheery flowers. Our hens and roosters enjoy organic grains, garden scraps, and foraging for bugs and other healthy treats outdoors. Eggs are creamy and tasty, with a healthy firmness and a bright golden yolk. Buy a whole pig or share one with friends to enjoy the best pork ever!

Children love our carrots and beans and turnips because they taste great, despite being “vegetables”! Rusty Plough Farm is a part of the larger fabric of community, jobs, economic vitality, just wages, open space, environmental responsibility and healthy eating. We’re honored to provide you with the highest quality, best-tasting products that we grow. Join the many folks who enjoy eating locally and seasonally.
